Speaking to you as a bass player for a dance band,I work small clubs a lot.A club show is not a concert show.It is an intimate thing,you can run your sound right from the stage.So many of these young groups have got it set up to play a concert,with an FOH mixer and all of that.To play a room that is 60 people max.And it is so LOUD.It drives people out of the club.And that club no longer uses live music because the bands are to loud.
