No,I have always belonged to the independent party.I take the time to vote in elections in america and therefore I have the right to comment upon them.Today is a very special day in my country where we pay honor to those who laid down their lives so that we can be a free people.So I shall give you a story that I think illustrates the american spirit.George Washington and the revolutionary army were stranded in Valley Forge, pennsylvania in the dead of winter.They had no food,and no bullets and were falling and freezing.Martha Washington was at their home in Mount Vernon and ordered that a smelter should come to their home.In the front yard were laid out all of the precious family metal heirlooms and the smelter was given instructions to melt them all down.he asked "What do you want me to do with them after they are melted Ma'am? Martha Washington said "Cast them into bullets."She stood dry-eyed and watched as the task was completed.
