My son Jordan wrote the lyrics at age 9,my drummers son Drew Brown sang it, also at age 9 with the band behind them.The original version came when I was driving my son to school and he said "hey Dad check this out,I wrote it...da da da da,I had a bad day at school...."I almost drove off the interstate when I heard it!!!! I said "son that is on we are gonna do it!" Jordan did not want to sing it and said "See if Drew will do it."As fate would have it Drew was up for the hunt and his mom said it would be okay as long as he got his homework done. And so this young boy stepped up to the lead vocal mic and drilled it through.Perfect.You might say he is just talking,but listen to his phrasing so totally tight.He ain't guessing he is studied.Listen to him wail at the wend!He has no showbiz aspirations (he wants to be a doctor) but he did it because we asked him to.He turned in an absolutely incredible performance.Don't you think?There is no record in the known world that sounds like this.Dig it!
